It’s time for another monthly post from my lovely group of lifestyle photographers! This month\u00a0our theme is cell phone photos, so I’m sharing a few of my favorites I’ve taken with my iPhone 5S. (Warning: Instagram filters in use…)<\/p>\n

A summer day in the Acton Arboretum (Acton, Massachusetts).<\/p>\n

I was leaving a doctor’s appointment at golden hour and saw these gorgeous shadows in the glowing light.<\/p>\n

Last summer I took my kids to Hershey Park as part of our summer vacation. I hardly ever do night photography, but I liked this phone capture!<\/p>\n

This was taken on a quick trip we took to Salisbury Beach for fireworks last summer. We got there a little early so we could enjoy the water and the sunset. This shot was completely lucky – I happened to catch my gymnast daughter striking this pose.<\/p>\n

I’ve heard it said that the best camera is the one you have with you. I’ve been taking my “real” camera with me a lot more often, so I tend to use my phone only for quick snaps that are practical rather than artistic, or if I don’t have the DSLR with me. I think I’ve forgotten how much an iPhone camera can really do, so I should challenge myself to use it more often! Be sure you keep going around the circle to see what everyone else is sharing.
