<\/p>\nWhat image comes to mind\u00a0when you think of family photography? Probably a group of happy, smiling people, sitting or standing together; nicely dressed, nicely posed, looking at the camera; in a pretty location, maybe indoors, maybe outdoors. This is portrait photography, and it’s wonderful when it’s done well. Beautiful portraits will never go out of style.<\/p>\n
But when you imagine your family together, on any given day, how does the picture look in your mind? Where are you? What are you doing?<\/p>\n
I’m guessing you’re not sitting together and smiling into a lens. This is where lifestyle photography comes in.<\/p>\n
My goal in working with families is to get to know them a little bit – to spend some time with them, either in their home or another favorite location, and find out what they love about each other. And with my camera I preserve those moments, those emotions, whatever is happening right then in their lives.<\/p>\n
I love working with families, of any age and size. Capturing authentic, real-life moments that could happen any or every day, in a beautiful and artistic way – this is my goal for every family I photograph.<\/p>\n
