Working with this family was such a joy. These new parents were over the moon in love with their little guy. He was almost 5 weeks old, so barely a newborn anymore, but that’s just a technicality, right? He was awake until the very end, so we didn’t get a lot of sleepy shots, but he rewarded us with great facial expressions. I tried to capture the parents’ favorite spots in the home, and little A was patient with all his wardrobe changes.
While we were in the nursery and the proud papa was holding baby A, their cat Gigi came and had to get in on the action. I couldn’t resist one shot of her (I had Russian blue kitties when I was a kid). She was really sweet with the baby.
These are such special moments in a new family’s life together, and they go by so quickly. I am always looking for expecting families to work with, whether it’s their first baby or the fourth!
